So, what should be done to maintain a healthy body? Implementing various ways to maintain a healthy body is actually not difficult, as long as you have a strong will to do it consistently. We can start with small things, such as doing several ways to maintain a healthy body:
·       Consuming vegetables and fruit
Vegetables and fruit contain periodic fiber, vitamins, minerals, and various antioxidants needed by the body. Studies show that people who eat more vegetables and fruit live longer and have a lower risk of developing heart disease, type-2 diabetes, obesity and other diseases. Experts also recommend that half of our plates contain vegetables and fruit. In addition, make sure to consume balanced nutrition every day.
·       Maintain ideal body weight
Having excess body weight to obesity can increase a person's risk of developing various dangerous diseases. In addition, being underweight can also indicate a nutritional deficiency. Therefore, it is important to maintain an ideal body weight in order to avoid the risk of diseases that attack.
·       Drink enough water
Drinking enough water can provide many benefits, namely increasing metabolism and preventing dehydration. When we are dehydrated, we will be thirsty, weak, sore throat, and dizzy. So, drink at least 8 glasses of water per day so that your body's fluid needs are met to keep your body healthy and fit.
·       Get regular exercise
Exercising regularly can help prevent various diseases, such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and cancer. In addition, exercise can also control body weight and make people feel fitter. Try to exercise for about 30-60 minutes 5 times a week. However, if you can't do it that often, do what you can instead of not at all.

Staying up late has become a habit for many people. Instead of sleeping, evenings are often spent playing gadgets or watching TV. In addition, lack of sleep can also interfere with concentration, alertness, and performance. Therefore, make it a habit to get enough and quality sleep. Getting enough sleep can help maintain overall health. To sleep easily, don't drink coffee in the evening, try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, and dim the lights a few hours before bed.
·       Get in the habit of washing hands with soap
One of the most important steps in maintaining a healthy body is to regularly wash your hands with soap in running water. When we touch something, we don't know how many germs there are on our hands and have the potential to enter the body. This also allows disease transmission to occur. Therefore, wash your hands, especially before eating, after using the toilet, or after sneezing and coughing. Use soap and scrub all areas of the hands, including the backs of hands, palms, between fingers, and nails for at least 20 seconds.

Some people like to drink soft drinks. Whereas various soft drinks, such as soft drinks or energy drink, generally contain added sugar which is not small in quantity. In addition, consuming sugary drinks has also been linked to heart attacks, obesity and gout. To prevent various health problems, limiting the consumption of soft drinks is the right way to maintain a healthy body.
·       Avoid junk food
The delicious taste of junk food can cause a person to consume it excessively. In fact, these foods are usually low in fiber, protein and various other nutrients. Low levels of these nutrients make the body feel “not eating” and want to eat more. In addition, junk food is also rich in unhealthy ingredients, such as added sugar, saturated fat, and only provides most of the empty calories. Therefore, it is important to avoid it.
·       Manage stress well
Stress is a common occurrence, but it is important to manage it as well as possible. Excessive stress can increase cortical levels and disrupt the body's metabolism. In addition, stress can also increase the risk of developing various diseases. When it comes to managing stress, try to exercise, take walks in nature, practice breathing techniques, meditate, or hang out with friends. However, if your stress doesn't decrease or gets worse, you should immediately seek help from a psychologist.
 ·       Avoid smoking and alcohol
Smoking not only damages the lungs, but can also damage various other organs of the body. It also makes us more likely to get cancer, heart disease, and other serious diseases. Even secondhand smoke is at risk of experiencing the same dangers. In addition, consuming alcohol in excess can also increase the risk of developing cancer and liver disease. Therefore, it would be better if you avoid smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages.
 ·       Protects skin
Excessive sun exposure in the long term not only causes sunburn, it can also increase the risk of developing skin cancer. Be sure to protect your skin from UV exposure by wearing long-sleeved clothing and a hat when outdoors. Also, use sunscreen that blocks UV rays so your skin is protected.
